Effective September 9, 2026.
Dibs stores an anonymous installation credential and Apple push token, your saved eBay searches and filters, listings those searches matched, notification delivery timestamps, and limited service diagnostics. If you choose to connect your eBay account, Dibs also stores an encrypted eBay authorization token and a cached copy of your eBay watchlist to display in Snipes; it never receives or stores your eBay password. Dibs does not require a name, email address, contacts, precise location, payment information, or advertising identifier.
This data is used only to scan eBay, deliver alerts, restore your feed, prevent duplicate notifications, import your watched listings, compare available market prices, verify completed auction prices you monitor, secure the service, and diagnose delivery failures. Search and sale-verification requests are sent to eBay and notifications are delivered through Apple. We do not sell personal data, use it for cross-app tracking, or share it for advertising.
Data remains while an installation is active so alerts and history work. Inactive installations are removed after 30 days. You can immediately delete this installation's server data from Settings in the app.
Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
